Eunique Jones Gibson launched a beautiful new art campaign featuring photographs of kids posing as influential Latino leaders, artists and athletes, people that have shaped history and positively impacted their communities. The art campaign is named "Por Ellos, Si Podemos", features 365 photos taken in less than a year. It was inspired by the photographer's two sons and the artist's desire to help her children fight stereotypes in today's society and help them find inspiration in influential Latino leaders.
ampaign was inspired by my own two sons (last February 2013) and the desire to create imagery for them and children like them that would refute stereotypes and build their self-esteem by connecting them to heroes past and present who have and continue to pave the way.
